The Wife of the Chairman of Uyo Local Government Area and Chairperson of the Wives of All Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria (WALGON), Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Akaninyene Uwemedimo, welcomed the 2025 Christmas baby at the Model Primary Health Centre, Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, celebrating the birth of a baby girl delivered in the early hours of Christmas Day.
Mrs. Uwemedimo visited the health facility with gift items for the newborn and her mother, Mrs. Etido Ifiok of Itiam Etoi, describing the child as a symbol of hope, joy, and blessings.
The visit reaffirmed her commitment to promoting maternal and child welfare across Uyo Local Government Area
