Mrs. Akaninyene Uwemedimo, Wife of the Chairman of Uyo Local Government, marked the 2024 Christmas season with a maternal visit by welcoming the first Christmas baby at the Primary Health Centre, Ikot Ebido Oku, Uyo, inaugurated in November 2024.
During the visit, Mrs. Uwemedimo, who also serves as Chairperson of the Wives of All Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria (WALGON), Akwa Ibom State, presented gift items to the baby's mother, celebrating the safe delivery and describing the newborn as a symbol of hope, joy, and God's blessings for the family and the Uyo community.
