Uyo Local Government Area, through the office of the wife of the Chairman, Mrs Akaninyene Uwemedimo Udo hosted the flag-off of the second round of Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Week in Akwa Ibom State in partnership with the Primary Health Care Development Agency, UNICEF, and other stakeholders.
The initiative was designed to deliver essential health interventions aimed at reducing childhood mortality and improving the well-being of mothers and children, bringing together government officials, healthcare professionals, and development partners in a shared commitment to quality primary healthcare.
